Honourable Pierre Pettigrew - Advisor
Honourable Pierre Pettigrew has had a distinguished career with success in both public and private sectors. Most notably, he led a number of senior government departments in his ten years as a minister in successive federal Canadian governments. Among other positions, he has served Canada as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister for International Trade and the Minister for International Cooperation. He is currently Executive Advisor, International with Deloitte & Touche LLP. Prior to entering national politics, Mr. Pettigrew was the Vice President of Samson Belair Deloitte & Touche International (Montréal), where he acted as an international business consultant.
Honourable Joe R. Reeder - Advisor
Mr. Reeder served as the 14th Undersecretary of the U.S. Army. In this number two post, Joe served essentially as the Army's COO, with specific responsibilities for long-range planning, material requirements, readiness, acquisition reform, infrastructure reduction, and financial management of the Army. He served as the Army's focal point for international affairs, with specific focus on NATO, Panama and Latin America. Joe also served for three years (1993-1997) as Chairman of the Panama Canal Commission's Board of Directors where he oversaw a multibillion dollar infrastructure program. As Army Undersecretary he also oversaw military support to local, state and federal U.S. agencies related to civilian law enforcement, civil disturbance, disaster relief, and emergency planning. Mr. Reeder is based in Washington, D.C., and enjoys an extensive background in law and in national security matters.
Ron Hite - Advisor
General Ron Hite (U.S. Army) retired in 1997 as the Director Army Acquisition Corps, and Military Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Research, Development and Acquisition. Through his decorated career he held many executive positions in the U.S. military. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from East Tennessee State University and Master’s Degree in Science from the Florida Institute of Technology.
